“This indecision got me climbing up the wall / Been cheating gravity and waiting on the fall” - Foo Fighters, “Rope”

With years of experience on stage and in the studio—and a lifelong connection to music—Donnie channels the spirit of the Foos with both power and precision.

A self-taught musician, Donnie picked up the guitar before he was a teenager, inspired by the music constantly playing around him. Much of that early influence came from his older brother, a drummer ten years his senior, whose passion for music helped shape Donnie’s path. He started out on drums, deeply influenced by Rush, but eventually shifted his focus to guitar. After learning a few basic chords from his brother, he taught himself the rest by listening, experimenting, and playing by ear. His desire to master the guitar hit a new level the first time he heard Van Halen.

Over the years, Donnie has played in a variety of original and cover bands, collaborating with musicians across styles and genres. Ironically, one of his original bands was often compared to the Foo Fighters long before he ever paid tribute to them.

With influences ranging from Van Halen, Rush, and Queen to Steely Dan, Jane’s Addiction, Faith No More, Steel Panther, and of course, the Foo Fighters—Donnie brings intensity, authenticity, and deep respect to every performance. He delivers the music fans know and love with heart, edge, and a sound that’s unmistakably his own.
